Tuning AcademY

Frequently asked questions

What do I need to have with me for chip tuning training?

Notebook with WinOls Demo or WinOls installed (latest version if possible).

Can I do level1 + level2 at once?

Yes, at the explicit request of the trainee. It takes a total of 5 days. However, it should be borne in mind that the interruption between training allows you to consolidate and systematize your acquired knowledge based on your own practice. Participating in continuous training without any interruptions between levels may be less effective.

How long does chip tuning training take every day?

7 hours + 1 hour for lunch per day. Such training covers complicated material, so short pauses for coffee/refreshment are on demand. Also homework is obligatory every day.

Can you adapt your trainings to my knowledge? I know already some of subjects of training.

Of course this is possible. Posting such a wish when setting up training will allow you to determine the current state of knowledge by starting and modifying it as you need it. However, this is only possible with 1 in 1 (non-group) training. As training agendas have been prepared taking into account our best knowledge of the necessary levels of each level, we assume that the change in the scope of the training resulting from the agreement with the trainee and resulting in the acquisition of higher level training results in an increase in the price of all training to a higher level.

Is your training of WinOls authorised by EVC?

Yes. Refer to www.evc.de

Can I buy WinOls license directly at training?

Yes. You will receive discount on total price of training + WinOls license.

Can I use cracked version of WinOls during training?

No. You need to have the demo version installed (downloadable from www.evc.de) or purchase a full version license. Training on the demo version of WinOLS is as possible, but like every demo version it has a vendor-defined limitation that does not allow access to all features. Based on the demo version after the training did not allow the normal work of chiptuner, development and expansion of knowledge.

If you opt out of the cracked version and go to legal, you will buy it with us at a special discount.

What can I do after a training, during evenings in Kraków?

We ask you to do homework (do some files/modifications of provided ECU files) to ensure the knowledge is well trained, so you wouln’t have a lot of free time. Homeworks are checked next day morning. Beside that Kraków is an 1000 years old town, famous for its architecture. Historical Main Square is 8 km far from our headquarters/hotels nearby – you can take a taxi or tram.

What is „homework”?

Additional work you do every day except last day of training at hotel, calculated for 1-2 hours. This can be omitted by demand, but is highly suggested as a brilliant method of improving skills and better memorization of new informations. Homework is checked and disputed next day morning, with instructor, who checks it for quality of work, explains mistakes and missing things.
